Privacy

This notice explains what personal information The Edit Studio collects, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. The Edit Studio is a trade name of Eureka Client Solutions B.V., which is responsible for your information. If you have a question, email hello@theeditstudio.eu.

When you join The Edit or priority access

I collect your email address and the date you signed up and confirmed. I use it only to send the emails you asked for. My legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email. Subscriber lists are managed by MailerLite on my behalf.

When you buy something

Orders are processed by Payhip, which collects your name, email address, billing country and order details, and delivers your download. Payments are handled by Stripe, through Payhip. I never see or store your card details. My legal basis is to fulfil our contract. I keep order records for seven years because Dutch tax law requires it.

When you email me

My email is provided by Zoho Mail, on servers in the EU. I keep your message and my reply for as long as I need them to deal with your question, and then delete them unless they relate to an order.

When you use this website

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps short-term technical logs to keep it secure.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use cookies or similar technologies, and it doesn’t track you, so there’s nothing to accept or decline. If that changes, I’ll ask for your consent first. Payhip’s checkout pages use their own cookies, which are explained in Payhip’s privacy policy.

The Formula

When The Formula opens, its questionnaire will ask for information and photos needed for your recommendations. I’ll explain exactly how that is handled before you share anything.

Who else sees your information

Only the services named above, and only to provide what you asked for. I never sell your information. Some of these providers, or companies they work with, process information outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United Kingdom or the United States. Where that happens, it’s protected by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by the Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you the information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how I use it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to how I use it. Email me and I’ll respond within a month. If you’re unhappy with my answer, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
