About The Edit Studio

Working out what suits you, and making decisions you’re still happy with months later.

At some point, the things that used to work can stop feeling quite right. Your wardrobe is full, but getting dressed feels harder. Your makeup routine doesn’t do much for you any more. You know what you like when you see it on someone else, but translating it to yourself is another matter.

Or nothing is wrong at all. You love clothes and beauty, you have plenty already and you want fresh ideas for how to wear it. Most women are somewhere in between.

Either way, I start with the whole picture: the way you actually live, the styles you’re naturally drawn to, your budget and how you want to feel. In The Formula, that includes your colouring and shape too. A lot of style and beauty advice is written for everyone at once and comes with rules. I’d rather work from you.

The aim is a clear direction you can come back to without overthinking it, one that feels like you and can change as you do. Everything here is meant to be used: in a shop, in front of your wardrobe or with a basket open on your phone.

Behind The Edit

I’ve always loved style and beauty. Finding inspiration in what people wear, noticing how fashion and beauty are changing and working out how to make it fit my own style has always come naturally to me.

For a long time, I knew what worked for me. Until I didn’t.

My life had changed, and so had I. The things I’d always relied on no longer felt quite right. Even with a real interest in all of this, it took time, a lot of research and plenty of trial and error to work out what felt like me again.

Then I realised I wasn’t the only one. I kept talking to women who felt stuck in the same way, for all sorts of different reasons.

That’s where The Edit Studio came from. I wanted to take what I’d learned and use it to help other women work out what suits them now, make more considered choices and feel sure of them, without starting all over again.

I keep The Edit Studio personal but private, so you won’t find my face here. You’ll hear from me directly in everything I make and, if you choose The Formula, in a voice note recorded for you.
